The Diversity in Publishing Network has been established to promote the status and contribution of diverse ethnic groups within all areas of publishing, as well as support those seeking to enter the industry. The network will provide a forum for discussion, sharing of information, mutual support and practical advice. Please see our page:/About-Us/Constitution(constitution) for more details. Varying levels of membership are open to anyone aiming to, or currently working in publishing and associated industries.

Our aims and objectives are as follows:

1. To promote the status and contribution of people from diverse ethnic groups in all areas of publishing

2. To provide a forum for discussion and the sharing of information and expertise

3. To encourage communication and mutual support among people from diverse ethnic groups in publishing

4. Where possible, to help with practical training for career development

5. Work towards equality of opportunity and advancement for minority ethnic groups in publishing

6. Undertake activity that informs, promotes and inspires others seeking to enter, or already working in, publishing

7. To develop international links with other publishing industries to share knowledge and ideas

8. To develop relationships with organisations and individuals whose aims are reflective of the Diversity in Publishing Network
